About Me

I am not a scientist, but I aim to cultivate the curiosity and precision of a scientist. Working with websites and digital media has been the perfect way to combine my passions for creativity, communication, and strategy. Throughout my time supporting NASA websites, first as an intern and now as an employee of a federal contractor, I have been thrilled to contribute to furthering innovation by making it easier for users to find and access NASA's science and technology resources.

I am a British-American dual citizen who graduated summa cum laude from Mount Holyoke College in 2023 with a bachelor's degree in Astronomy and English. During my studies, I spent a summer at Louisiana State University, where I conducted research into the angular diameters of retired A stars for the purposes of furthering exoplanet discoveries around these stars. As I wrote my results into my senior undergraduate thesis, I discovered I enjoy scientific research, but I enjoy communicating about science even more.

Some of my personal projects include running a YouTube channel, writing science fiction stories, and making up songs on my guitar. I am also starting to dabble in front-end web development (this website was an attempt at seeing if I could modify an existing template for my own purposes). Check out my GitHub page for my progress on that front.

On the last day of my Fall 2023 internship at NASA's Glenn Research Center in Cleveland, my fellow interns and I had a photo shoot in front of the center's iconic hangar!
